Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data The Neron processes, why, for how long, and how to exercise your rights, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

During the beta, all game data will be wiped at the official release (see the terms of use).
Recipients
- Scaleway SAS (France): hosting of the servers, database and backups, in France.
- Discord Inc. (United States): authentication service. Discord receives your login request and sends us your ID, username and avatar. Transfers to the United States are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Discord's own safeguards (see its privacy policy).
- Audience measurement (Umami) is self-hosted: no data is sent to a third party.
Your Discord username, avatar and champion are visible to other players (fight history, titles and badges). No data is sold or used for advertising.
Backups
The database is backed up daily; each backup is kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically. Deleted data therefore disappears from backups within 90 days at most.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to and port your data. To exercise these rights, write to contact.theneron@pm.me in a way that lets us check the Discord account is yours. You will get an answer within one month.
You can also revoke The Neron's access to your account at any time from Discord (User Settings › Authorized Apps).
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country.

Minors
Discord is only available to people aged 13 or over (or the minimum age in your country). In France, minors under 15 need the agreement of a holder of parental authority to use the service.

This policy may change, especially at the official release. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
